What is Canola?

Canola is a media center-like application for Nokia Internet Tablets. It's intended to be a very simple and fast way to consume media from the device or the internet. It's perfect for listening to your music, immersing yourself in the world of your pictures, watching high quality videos, or downloading, streaming and playing your favorite podcast shows.

It packs in the first beta simple media features that came in the first release plus the addition of improved media browsing. It also brings a very flexible architecture, where features can be easily developed. We expect to see new features being added monthly from the Canola team as well from third party developers.
